What's New?

January 2, 2017

Today we increased our mold inventory! I don't have the exact count, but we moved in about 400 plus molds into our shop.

Over the coming weeks I will be sorting, organizing and inventorying all the new molds. It is expected to take  about 3 months to get the molds processed and ready to pour.

We have one more shipment to arrive in the coming weeks, approximately 200-300 more.

We have a huge selection to choose from, and I will be adding more pictures to the gallery as we go along.

So stay tuned!

It's a very exciting time at Ceramic Creations as we expand our inventory!

Second shipment of molds have arrived! We changed our strategy. We opted to bring in several smaller loads of molds rather than another massive shipment. With a little help from our friends we sorted as we went. Over the next month we will be bringing in a few more loads of about 150 molds. Now we are on the hunt for new shelving!

In between organizing and inventorying our new molds I have been busy pouring lots of new pieces.

Wow! It's been a busy few months and it's time to do an update of all the happenings.

I had a lot of fun getting ready for the Apple Blossom Craft Sale in Kentville, NS that was held in May. Poured lots of new pieces including some cool nautical pieces that I have been naming after the beautiful Nova Scotia beaches.

In between creating we are still bringing in shipments of molds and logging them in our inventory. To date we have had 6 truck loads and one big trailer load roll into Carole's Ceramic Creations. Thank goodness for the help of family and friends!

Yesterday I dropped off 31 pieces at an amazing little gift shop located at 27 Water Street, Pictou just in time for the busy tourist season. All products are locally made by Nova Scotian artists and crafters. It's a great spot to shop while you're waiting for the Prince Edward Island ferry.

Now, back to the crafting table!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

With the Marley's Hope Fall Craft Sale under my belt I am busy preparing for the Seaside Christmas Craft Sale coming this weekend, followed by the Christmas Festival of Crafts in early December.

Pictou County Crafts has closed for the season. Pictou is such a beautiful little town. I enjoyed exploring the local businesses on my trips to the store to restock. Yesterday I placed some pieces in Alderberry Village Co-op in Truro. Love the atmosphere of this place and all the local crafts.

I have had lots of fun pouring new molds for the first time and watching the pieces come to life with colours. So many molds, so much variety, the possibilities are endless!

I am (not so) patiently waiting for the arrival of my new Christmas tree mold. Can't wait to start getting the tree orders filled!

I hope you're enjoying your preparation for the busy Holiday Season. Happy Crafting!

Hard to believe summer is over and the busy Holiday seasons are just around the corner!

Finally! The huge lot of molds are all here. Still sorting and organizing as we go, but there are so many great new molds to pour. It's been a lot of fun.

Orders are starting to come in for the ever popular ceramic Christmas Tree. These things are timeless and never go out of style! I just ordered a new Doc Holliday 14" tree and can't wait until it arrives so I can pour some trees. Also waiting for a new order of supplies to arrive to start preparing for the holidays. Looking forward to spending the chilly nights in my studio creating.

Happy Fall!
